Vintage Upgrades

Took a few Kenner Vintage figures from the 80 and using GI Joe heads (have a very Star Wars Vintage Toy look and seem to blend in with the original figures) along with adding some details and proper paint applications, upgraded them

B-Wing Pilot

Rebel Generals

Wedge

Hoth Trooper

Bail Organa
(using a Hawkeye MASH figure)

Mr. T - Hoth Commander

Resistance is useless ... no, they blow stuff up

Just a few head swaps with a drilled out pilot helmet to create a squadron...

Styrofoam...a big diorama...Death Star Trench

This took place back in the mid 80's, father bought a huge drill press, I used the 2 large Styrofoam packing panels to create the death star trench run from both New Hope and Return of the Jedi. Fishing Line (very noticeable)
was used to suspend the ships from the ceiling.
this was pre-digital, so these are scan od old hard copy photos....

Oh Mara Jade.... when will you be perfect.

The many variations of Mara Jade, I don't really hate the 2014 head sculpt but its just "off".
One day, maybe we'll have her in a Jedi outfit or even her Arica disguise (Jabba's Palace)

Also used Black Widow (Avengers) and Scarlett (G.I. Joe) heads

Your Mother Wears Combat Boots ...

And flies an Incom T-65. More head-swaps, with the newer neck posts and heads that pop off, creating pilots and troops (army building) has become easier. Here some Twi'lek pilots and Leia and using a G.I. Joe Lady Jaye head Jaina Solo all in X-Wing gear
