Vintage Upgrades

Took a few Kenner Vintage figures from the 80 and using GI Joe heads (have a very Star Wars Vintage Toy look and seem to blend in with the original figures) along with adding some details and proper paint applications, upgraded them

...Still more head swaps...more and more

The easiest of customs, buy two, pull off heads (either laugh or cry when you do it for sick or sad effect) switch head... plenty of guards and troopers are made this way, especially with several in scale lines all available (Thor, G I Joe, Marvel Universe, A-Team)
Add some paint or belt pouch, maybe new legs...good to go

Head Swapping Like Mad

Some of the simplest customs are part of an army builder approach. Buy a few soldiers , guards, troopers and pop off and swap the heads. PRESTO - conscripts for the imperial navy, or new commandos for a rebel strike force, or extra security for Cloud City.
Figures from other 3 3/4 lines ( G.I. Joe, Dragonheart, Star Trek, Marvel Universe) as well as figures from within the line; all work perfectly.
Sometimes I have to drill out the hole in th ebase of the head, of shave down the neck post to make a perfect fit. If its too loose, a little crazy glue, and BAM
