Getting Hitched

Something that I recently started doing (since my own wedding) is making cake toppers.

Because I have limited skills as a sculptor-

the hunt for a head that matches the Bride & Groom can be difficult & sometimes expensive

Good News Everyone, Mom's here !

Mom, who owns almost everything in the universe of Futurama, using Elsa from the Indian Jones line, and a skirt from a random unknown figure we have the Old and very Evil Mother of all Robots

They Sound British.... They Must Be Evil...IMPERIALS!!!

At least with the Original Trilogy most of the villains all had British Accents ...

 

Here are some Imperial troops , one using a Captain America head, and others ,some alternate scanning crew heads, and Thor as an Imperial Security Agent

A Boy and His ....Cat?

Was asked by a friend to make an action figure of her boyfriend (and cat ~ Einstein) for his 30th B-day. A small laptop with his company's logo , and nude woman on the screen was added, along with capes...because they're both "super"!
Also made a  quick and dirty diorama, superhero roof top scene to display them during his surprise party.
A repaint of a cat figure ,from a doll house store, with an old  unknown action figure cape created the cat.
While the boyfriend is a repaint of an Indiana Jones figure, with the head of the General from Jurassic Park 3 line and a Kir Kanos cape to complete the "hero"

Ewoks...very dangerous...you go first

After the Teek figure came out- I was inspired to try to make some of the characters form the Ewok TV movies.

From the first film : Caravan of Courage is Mace Towani - a Jurassic Park 3 figure with Han Solo torso and Dagobah Luke legs.

and from the second film : Battle For Endor is Noa Briqualon - is made from a Ponda Baba legs and Sio Bibble, eyeglasses from Dr Jones Sr.

Odds and Ends....

Just a few background, expanded universe, cartoon  and non-film characters.

Return of the Jedi:
A rebel tech that can be seen prepping, loading, programing (?) the holograph dysplya on Home One for the Mon Mothma's briefing... need to repaint his tunic  so the color is more of one shade...

Shadows of the Empire:
Dash Rendar in his often shown sleeveless outfit , Dagobah Luke arms , and a spare set of Dash arms , create his comic book look

Star Wars - Legacy:
Cade Skywalker in his sleeveless outfit, with tattoos. Another set of Dagobah Luke arms and gloves from an Imperial help create this figure

 Star Wars - Droids:
Admiral Terrinald Screed. Indian Jones german motorcycle scout , the glove of G.I. Joe figure ( Deep Six... Wetsuit ?... not sure) the head from a Wing Commander figure and some sculpey were used to make the Imperil villain from the cartoon. I kept the olive drab color - even though the actual uniform was grey

Star Wars - The Clone Wars (Genndy Tartakovsky's) :
Annakin Skywalker in his battle damages outfit while confronting Asajj Ventress on Yavin 4 during chapter 17 through 19. 

Return of the Jedi:
Using Talon Karrde's vest and a second Salet-Marae, I created a similar, but not 100% accurat rereation of the old Kenner Yakface
