Star Trek- crew members who died

More head swapping.

Playmates had a run of 4 inch action figures for all the Star Trek shows ( minus Enterprise...I'm one of the few who liked that show)

These figures were the some of the easiest to customize - due to the size, it took seconds to crack open the bodies with a thin flat head screw driver pushed into the waist. So head swaps were simple and smooth.

So heres a run of extra crewmen - most of which probably died in a klingon attack or an away mission gone horribly wrong... how many died in a gas cloud, energy beam or alien hugs.

Boldly Going...Head Swapping

Fortunately (or unfortunately for my wallet) two good friends of mine bought me the Repro/Retro Mego Star Trek Bridge. After buying the crew characters , I began to get the alien characters ...then the customizing began... real easy head swaps. Buying dolls from the other mego lines (Shazam, Superman, The humans from Planet of the Apes... even John-boy from the Waltons) and extra Spocks and Scotty dolls paved the way for creating additional crew members.
